    2026 Volunteer Shift Info

    • Based on the current number of swimmers, ALL families are required to volunteer 5 shifts. If registration numbers go up, we will reach out regarding adjustments. One of these shifts must be at, or in support of, our Ken Caryl Invitational (any exceptions to this requirement must be discussed with the Volunteer Coordinators prior to the close of Volunteer Sign-Ups).
    • You may sign up for more than one shift per meet, but we ask that you not sign up for more than 2 shifts at the same meet.
    • Any adult may fulfill your volunteer shift.  Older, responsible teen family members may fulfill any Splash4Cash eligible shift.
    • Occasionally we will ask families to reschedule volunteer shifts to meet the needs of the team. While we make every attempt to let families choose their own shifts, we must cover critical jobs at each meet and changes sometimes happen.
    • We will ask families with swimmers at league championships or the state meet to volunteer for shifts at those meets.  We will be hosting Sunday of the state meet this year.
    • If you have questions regarding your volunteer shifts, please contact our KCSC Volunteer Coordinators.

    Splash for Cash (SFC)

If you are unable to fulfill your volunteer requirements, it is your responsibility to either find a replacement or utilize our Splash for Cash (SFC) program for eligible jobs. For a $40.00 per shift fee, your shift can be covered by a pre-qualified teenager. Please note that some shifts must be filled by an adult and are therefore not eligible for SFC, but our SFC and Volunteer Coordinators will work with you when possible.

To apply for the SFC program, please follow this process:

Step 1: You MUST sign up for all your shifts in Swimtopia before you can apply.

    • Requests are typically due the Wednesday before the Saturday meet by 8 PM.

Step 2: Fill out application for EACH shift that you are applying for using google formForm Here

Step 3: Put $40 CASH (per shift) in an envelope labeled with your name, shift date, and shift description and put it in the Splash for Cash folder in the bins at the pool (usually in the shed).

    • Note: The bins can only be accessed during swim practices or home meets. The shed is locked during the day when the pool is open to the public. Please do not give your envelope to a lifeguard.

Step 4: After we receive your cash, you will receive a confirmation from the Splash for Cash coordinator that your application has been accepted. Your application will not be accepted until we receive your cash.

Failure to follow this process will result in a “no show fee” at $100 per shift and may also impact your child’s eligibility to swim in future seasons.

Contact our Splash for Cash Coordinator at [email protected] with questions.
